The Watch

The Watch Architecture

One compliance brain across fiat rails, blockchain transfers, and identity checks.

The Watch sits between payment instructions and execution rails. In traditional setups, compliance teams must stitch together separate tools for blockchain analytics (Chainalysis, TRM), fiat AML rules, sanction screening lists, and manual banking limits.

The Watch replaces fragmented tooling with a single, real-time risk engine that applies identical regulatory standards across every connector.

Pre-Execution Policy Checks

Before any money leaves an account or enters clearing, The Watch evaluates:

  1. Sanctions & PEP Screening: Automatic verification against OFAC, EU, UN, and UK sanctions lists.
  2. Blockchain Risk Scoring: Real-time wallet address screening for interaction with sanctioned protocols, darknet markets, mixers, or stolen funds.
  3. Transaction Velocity & Limits: Monitoring cumulative daily, weekly, and monthly volumes per verified identification.
  4. Counterparty Verification: Assessing payee ownership and destination country risk (FATF grey/black lists).

Decision Outcomes

Every evaluated transfer resolves into one of three deterministic states:

  • Approved (approved): The transfer immediately advances to rail execution.
  • Review Required (pending_approval): The transfer is held pending secondary authorization under Four-Eyes Governance or compliance officer sign-off.
  • Rejected (rejected): The transfer is blocked. Ledger funds remain untouched, and a security alert is logged.
