Blockchain Wallets & Custody
Generating deposit addresses, monitoring on-chain balances, and estimating network gas fees.
Blockchain wallets hold or receive stablecoins and crypto for an account, on Polygon, Ethereum, Solana, Tron and Bitcoin. There are two kinds:
- Deposit wallets (
kind: deposits): addresses Depa generates for the account. Funds sent to them are credited to the account's ledger. - Source wallets (
kind: source): external addresses you whitelist as payout destinations.
1. Creating a Deposit Wallet
Generate a new deposit address on your target network. Leave address out for deposit wallets:

2. Estimating Network Fees
Before sending an on-chain payment, check the network fee for a wallet:
curl https://sandbox.depasify.com/api/v1/accounts/8f3a2c1e-5b7d-4e9a-9c21-7d4b6e0f1a23/blockchain_wallets/9a7b3c2d-1e4f-4a6b-8c9d-0e1f2a3b4c5d/fees \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <your_jwt_token>"Response
{
"data": {
"network": "POLYGON",
"fees": 0.05
}
}For an estimate by network and asset without a wallet, use
GET /gas_fees.
